Reviewed on 21st June 2017Had to wait 15 minutes for a pick up back to the car park. When I got in the car all driver seat positions had been changed, the radio had been set to a music channel, didn't feel good.

Reviewed on 2nd April 2016Callerton was always my goto choice for parking when flying from Newcastle. However, they were recently taken over by NCL airport itself and they've made a right mess of it. There was nobody there to meet us on departure (about 4am). Just an airport fireman standing watch. He had to call someone to pick us up and they had to borrow MY pen to sign us in! When we came back we were left standing at the airport because the guy couldn't fit us in his van. Callerton guys used to operate 16 seaters.. These guys now have 1 tiny transit with 6/7 seats. Apparently they've took over ALL of the other local 3rd party parking services too.. which leaves absolutely no choice whatsoever. Terrible service.

Reviewed on 14th November 2015Very poor reception office-scruffy and damp, Had to wait at least 20 minutes to be picked up on our return in spite of 2 phone calls to the reception centre who told us transport already on the way. On driving car away & switching radio on found radio had been used as we could not get preselected Stations so had to completely retune Radio.

Reviewed on 15th August 2013The old guy on the desk was foul mouthed and used the f*** word twice, bit of a shock at 4am, the other guy parking the car was ok. The transit mini bus was disgusting, coverered in filth and kept together with tape! My cream shirt I travelled in was smeared with filth when I got out at the airport, shocking. Will not use again and will be advising my friends to use another company !

Reviewed on 19th June 2012Having washed and vacuumed the car before going on holiday I was non to pleased to receive the car back with mud all over the outside of the car and also on the driver interior door and carpet. You'd think someone had been on a rally around the car park.

Reviewed on 16th October 2011I was absolutely surprised when I was directed into the site, it looked like a scrap yard with modern cars in it. It was exceedingly scruffy and the office left a lot to be desired. The cars appeared to be parked very haphazardly, slotted into all available spaces. I left the place being very concerned about the safety of my car, fearing it could get damaged in some way. The transport vehicles to the airport were very scruffy and dirty, and did not inspire confidence. The collection from the airport and the return of the car was efficient, even in the scruffy minibus.I inspected my vehicle on collection and found no faults in the dark, however the following day in the light, I realised that the towing electrical sockets had been bent back to the bumper, indicating that the car had hit, or been hit, something. However I could find no damage to the paintwork and the black plastic bumpers did not show any signs of damage. If I can make a positive comment, I suggest you take a look at the one across the road, I believe it is called Airpark. Sorry about the adverse comments, but you did ask.

Reviewed on 29th September 2011I would have expected more than one available taxi as the return journey was a bit of a wait, as we were unable to get on the first one as it was full. The condition inside mini cab was not what I would of expected, with ripped headrests and dirty seats. However, the price was ok and driver polite and obliging.

Reviewed on 23rd June 2011Reason for the below average rating is because I was not advised that Callerton use an overflow carpark as the site near the airport is quite small therefore no idea where this is or how secure the carkpark is! Only found out on my return when I discovered the mileage on my car had increased by 10 miles!!!! The pickup driver advised the reason why. I think Callerton should be up front and advise customers that this may happen and also give details(security details etc) of the overflow carpark at time of booking. Also what is the situation re car insurance when the car is been driven to and from the overflow carpark? Otherwise all worked as per booking.
